In the second video in this series called “Solutions”, Walker Glass covers what needs to be done to make windows safer for birds.

For almost ten years now, Walker Glass as been involved with the scientific community developing bird deterrence glass solutions. This video series called “Bird Safe Glass Explained” has been developed in collaboration with Dr. Daniel Klem, Jr., renowned ornithologist and professor of biology at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Dr Klem has been studying this issue for over forty-five years.

In the first episode, entitled “The Issue”, he shares his perspective on the severity of this environmental hazard. In the second episode, “Solutions”, we cover what needs to be done to make windows safer for birds. The viewer will benefit from Dr. Klem’s extensive knowledge as well as the results of his detailed experiments. Simple solutions are within reach and can easily be implemented to prevent so many bird deaths.
