It does this by using a unique vacuum system, bringing together an outer pane of low-emissivity glass and an inner pane of clear float glass separated by microdots. The cavity between the glass panes is reduced to 0.2 mm and air is extracted to create a vacuum. This vacuum creates excellent thermal performance in a unit just 6.2 mm thick, making Pilkington ���貹������™ significantly lighter than other traditional options.
