The 鈥淩enovation Wave鈥 has the potential to be among the main driver of a green recovery that benefits at the same time the environment, the economy, and the people of Europe, but must be backed by an effective and ambitious legislative framework. The 鈥淩enovation Wave鈥 needs to be accompanied by the revision of the policy the EU has pursued for the last decade and by the creation of a dedicated European fund for building renovation.
黑料专区 for Europe believes that setting an EU-wide financial scheme and a dedicated roadmap for replacing single glazed and early uncoated double glazed windows is a wise step to make our buildings more energy-efficient, comfortable and drastically reduce CO2 emissions. A plan for the retrofitting of windows in Europe would not only fit with an action-oriented renovation wave but would also support recovery in a sector deeply impacted by the COVID-19 crisis.
