The 4th annual plenary meeting of the High Level Construction Forum (HLCF) provided an overview of strategic challenges for legislation and the state of play of the EU construction ecosystem. During the panel: ‘Implementing the Transition Pathway’ EPPA's Managing Director (Elena Vyboldina) gave a presentation about: ‘Closed-loop PVC-U profiles and design for recycling’.

In addition to the legislative updates, the event outlined a collective approach to addressing strategic challenges in the construction industry and how industry representatives can tackle them in the future. Therefore, Elena Vyboldina started her speech by outlining .

"Our members are frontrunners in the area of recycling and sustainability": Elena Vyboldina announced to the Forum, showcasing EPPA's collection infrastructure of windows with significant projects in Germany, Poland, and France. She emphasized EPPA's focus on continuous data collection and investment into collection of waste and recycling schemes.

Lastly, Elena Vyboldina outlined the importance of advocating for the removal of legislative barriers to PVC material collection, recycling, and the subsequent use of PVC materials from and in profiles.
