The Façade Tectonics Institute welcomes its new Executive Director, Katerina Hojgrova Neme, replacing Valerie Block, who has served as the interim Executive Director since 2021.

Katerina comes to FTI from UK's Built Environment Media (former World Architecture ��ר��), where she has been since 2007. Here, she was US West Coast Correspondent and a manager of TenderStream, a global provider of news, business information, project leads, and industry analysis for the architecture, engineering, and construction community. Katerina is a graduate of the Czech-Swiss Institute with a Bachelor’s degree in Corporate Management, Business Management, and Marketing.

Katerina (Kat) will oversee all FTI events in 2024, including virtual webinars, regional forums, and the World Congress, which will take place in Salt Lake City in October. Besides her responsibilities with internal committees, she will work to bolster the membership and sponsorship programs.
