The event brought together businesses from across the supply chain to celebrate the sector’s achievements, innovations and contributions of the past year.  

Beatson Clark was the stand out winner, securing the British Glass Company of the Year award along with the the Marketing Impact award and Human Resource Advisor at Beatson Clark, Charlotte Lax also took home the Rising Star award.  

Other winners on the night included Saint-Gobain Glass UK, Ardagh Glass Packaging Europe, Guardian Glass UK, Encirc and Fire Camera, recognising their contribution to the sector.  

The evening also highlighted those backing the industry. Sarah Champion MP received the Glass Ambassador Award for her continued advocacy in Parliament. In addition, a Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Steve Clayton from Stoelzle Flaconnage, honouring decades of dedicated service to the glass community. 

Finally, Glass Champion Awards celebrated brands committed to sustainable glass packaging, with accolades going to Belu, Gü Puddings, UpCircle Beauty, UNROOTED Drinks, and York Gin. 

British Glass CEO Dave Dalton said:   

“It was fantastic to bring the industry together in Manchester to celebrate the remarkable achievements across the glass supply chain. 

“Our sector continues to show resilience and innovation, driving progress towards net zero while delivering sustainable solutions for society.  

“I’d like to thank everyone who entered this year’s awards – your commitment and creativity are what make this industry thrive. Together, we’re shaping a future where glass remains at the heart of sustainable manufacturing.” 

From the judging panel, Martyn Marshall, Principal technologist and melting lead at Glass Technology Services said: 

“This year’s winners showcase the very best of innovation, sustainability, and leadership in the glass industry. From premium packaging that proves design can be both beautiful and eco-conscious, to flat glass solutions setting new standards for circular construction. Each project demonstrates measurable impact and forward-thinking creativity.”
