Glaston strengthens its long-standing partnership with Manna through a major investment in jumbo glass tempering automation and efficiency.

In late 2025, Glaston Group closed a deal with Manna for three Jumbo Series tempering lines. The customer purchased its first Jumbo Series line in 2022 and the additional three lines will be delivered to the customer between the second and fourth quarters of 2026.

Manna, established in 1952 and headquartered in Riyadh, operates in glass processing and currently runs six lines equipped with Glaston technology. Aiming for the highest level of quality in both machinery and end products, the companies have worked together for more than two decades.

Demand for extra-large glass has increased in recent years. Manna bought its first Jumbo Series tempering line from Glaston in 2022 and has now purchased three additional Jumbo Series tempering lines with Chinook convection system and Glaston Autopilot. The new lines will be installed at facilities in Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam.

The Chinook circulated-air convection system and precise heating control in Glaston鈥檚 Jumbo Series flat tempering line ensure constant, high-capacity, energy-efficient production of high-performance end products. With the Glaston Autopilot option, the customer can fully automate the tempering process, as the autopilot automatically sets all necessary parameters based on the glass sheet鈥檚 position on the line, allowing the operator to monitor only the process. With high loading efficiency, automating the process also helps reduce energy consumption per square meter processed.

鈥淥ur first line was delivered to Manna already in the late 1990s and our long-term cooperation is highly valued at Glaston. It鈥檚 great to be part of this successful growth journey,鈥 says Tuomo Nuottim盲ki at Glaston.

Saeed Manna, chairman and owner of Manna, says the investment reflects a shift toward advanced manufacturing: 鈥淭his investment marks a strategic transition toward a more advanced industrial model driven by automation and artificial intelligence to enhance efficiency and product quality.

We are adopting advanced technologies to improve precision, optimize resource utilization and support a more sustainable production environment, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.鈥
