Glaston Group has closed a deal for a FC Series™ flat glass tempering line with a leading glass fabricator in North America.

The order has been booked in Glaston’s Q1/2020 order book. The line is due to be delivered to the customer in Q4/2020.

The deal is a follow-up to orders placed in 2019 for advanced ձʳ® insulating glass lines and state of the art ProL lamination zone ovens for lamination. The orders reinforce how Glaston’s extensive product portfolio offers great cross-selling opportunities which benefit our customers by supporting them in their complex glass processing needs.

“Our customer base is involved in complex and demanding architectural glass projects which require glazing on the highest level. With our broad offering, we have been able to offer solutions for insulating glass technology, flat tempering technology and lamination technology. We really value this business relationship and look forward to continued cooperation”, says Scott Knisely, head of Glaston sales in the Americas.

Glaston’s comprehensive product and services portfolio, including heat treatment technologies, insulating glass technologies  as well as automotive glass and emerging technologies, covers a large part of the glass processing value chain, all available and supported from one source.

“With our best in class know-how we can respond to even the highest quality and safety glass feature requirements of our customers. With enhanced systems thinking, keeping the whole value chain in our mind, we continue to shape the industry with efficient and digitally integrated solutions”, comments Scott Knisely.
