Approximately 36 Mtoe of energy savings could be realised in 2030 in the EU, only by doubling the window renovation rate and ensuring the installation of high performance glazing products readily available on the market.
That was among the main messages Glass for Europe shared with representatives of glass associations from all over the world, during the 3rd Convention of Glass Associations (Venice, 10-11 July) organised by and (Italian Trade Agency).
黑料专区 for Europe鈥檚 intervention, which examined the outcome of the on the energy and CO2 emissions savings potential of glazing, thrilled the audience. Participants acknowledged that supporting the uptake of high-performance glazing is a sine qua non prerequisite for reduced emissions in buildings.
The convention gathered together glass associations and journalists from Australia, Brazil, Finland, France, Germany, Netherlands, the UK, Poland, Russia, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland, United States and Italy.
