ºÚÁÏרÇø melting technology specialist HORN was awarded the contract for the supply of a new all electric furnace by Shandong Linuo Pharmaceutical Packaging Co., Ltd.

The all-electric melting furnace #4 is designed with a melting area of 32 m2 and has a maximum daily output of 70 t/d. The furnace will be built with three production lines to produce neutral glass in flint.

HORN´s scope of supply ranges from the furnace design, the engineering of the refractories and steel construction to state-of-the-art equipment. Several additional HORN E-Fusion Power Boosting Systems will be installed to ensure significant reductions in CO2 emissions during glass melting.

The installation of the equipment and the commissioning of the furnace will be carried out by HORN experts to ensure a trouble-free operation of the plant.

Linuo Glass´ new production facility for pharmaceutical containers is set to open in 2026.
