The skyscraper is located near the Lusail Stadium and it was built for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Each of the four skyscrapers has an oval facade, rising with the distortion of the structure, which gives the impression of asymmetric structures. Such rotation starts from the bottom of the building, and in order to match for the structure and ensure its safety, Tianjin NorthGlass developed a new curved tempered forming technology, controlled the arc accuracy deviation within about 1mm, edge arc curve within 0.5mm to make the edge of the glass to be arc curve. Through the innovation and optimization of the coating process of flexible interval strip precise cutting and butyl glue in the process of glass research and production, the quality is improved to a new stage while ensuring the product performance.

Due to the tight construction period and the high processing difficulty, the project puts forward very high requirements for the cooperation between the R & D Department, the Engineering Department and the Production Department of NorthGlass. Tianjin NorthGlass has organized a special project team to make the cooperation between the teams more efficient and convenient. Tianjin NorthGlass completed all the glass processing and went to Qatar in just two months. After installation, the combination of 92 pieces of alien glass becomes the starting point of the spiral curtain wall system, leading the curtain wall to hover up and go straight to the cloud, which makes the whole building straight and dynamic.

The four skyscrapers in Lusail Towers are the headquarters of Qatar National Bank, Qatar Central Bank, Qatar Investment Authority, and Qatari Diar. The project covers 1.1 million-square-meter, and it locates at the end of the tree-lined main road, successfully connects the newly completed football stadium with the coastal area. The architect fully considered local sunlight and applied ocean-grade aluminum package in the design project, outspread outlines surrounding the building can block direct sunlight while retaining a good view and ample light.

The ice ribbon glass became the focus of global attention and also the subject of media coverage in Beijing Winter Olympics. The FIFA World Cup - Qatar 2022 will also create the miracle of human architectural history. The “green city” invested in the desert will open to the world, and Lusail Towers in the central area will become another focus of world attention.
