The Science Museum Oklahoma’s renovation enhances both accessibility and aesthetics. Its striking two-story lobby features OKAWOOD insulating glass, bringing in natural light, sun protection, and a warm, elegant touch.

The Science Museum Oklahoma has long been a cornerstone of scientific education in Oklahoma City. Recently voted one of ºÚÁÏרÇøweek's Top Three Science Museums in the US, this institution has undergone a significant transformation. A key part of the redesign was improving the museum’s exterior and entrance, making it more inviting and accessible.

A standout feature of the renovation is the new two-story lobby, featuring a luminous atrium with a north-facing insulated glass wall and skylight. Inside, the contrast between precast concrete and warm wooden elements creates a welcoming atmosphere.

To this remarkable project OKAWOOD insulating glass was installed in a vertical configuration. This innovative glass solution enhances daylighting, provides effective sun protection and introduces a natural material aesthetic to the space.
