NGA Glass Conference: Chicago is one month away, taking place July 18 – 20 at the Renaissance Chicago North Shore Hotel in Northbrook, IL. Both NGA members and nonmembers are welcome to attend. In a letter to the industry last week, NGA Advocacy & Technical Services Director, Urmilla Sowell, invited the industry to join her in Chicago:

“What screams summertime more than hot temps and hot dogs? Why not check off a bucket list item by joining me next month to try an official Chicago dog at the NGA Glass Conference, beginning July 18.

“This will also be our first traditional summer NGA Glass Conference in three years – remember Toledo?! We have another stellar agenda of presentations on topics including backstops, progress related to active shooter standards, and we'll revisit the status of select industry trends seven months into the year.

“What makes our programming special, in my opinion, is driven in large part by who is in the room. Diversity and quantity of thought, perspectives, experiences. NGA’s technical prowess is guided by the powerful insights and collaboration of our volunteers.”
