Architectural expression through structure and light is at the heart of this project, brought to life with SILVERSTAR SELEKT 74/42 by Glas Trösch.

In the Swiss town of Frauenfeld, this multi-family residence designed by Ivanov + Partners showcases a harmonious interplay of design and functionality. Subtle aluminium lamellae and a structured façade lend the cubic volume a distinctive identity, while large-scale glazing maximises natural light and emphasizes the rhythm of the design.

Glas Trösch contributed its high-performance SILVERSTAR SELEKT 74/42 triple insulating laminated safety glass to this project, offering outstanding solar control and thermal insulation. It was used for both window glazing and balustrade areas, enhancing the building’s energy efficiency and architectural clarity. For the all-glass balustrades, Glas Trösch supplied SWISSLAMEX COLORDESIGN in Light Black, carefully selected to match the tone of the insulating glass. This laminated safety glass enables finely nuanced colour shades through the combination of different interlayers.
