Volunteers and staff head to Capitol Hill to champion glass

NGA's 2026 policy priorities are School Security, Bird-Friendly Glazing, and Workforce Development.

鈥淕lass & Glazing Advocacy Days are a critical opportunity for the glass industry to come together with a unified voice on issues that truly matter; like advancing school security through high-performance glazing solutions, to promoting bird-friendly design that reflects our commitment to sustainability,鈥 says NGA Advocacy Committee Chair Paul Bush, Vitro Architectural Glass. 鈥淸Advocacy] directly impacts our communities and our future, demonstrating the essential role our industry plays in safety, innovation and environmental responsibility.鈥

In 2026, one of our key priorities is workforce development, a critical issue in our industry. Investing in the next generation of skilled workers will directly shape how we innovate and grow. When we meet with lawmakers, we鈥檙e not just representing an industry, we鈥檙e championing safer communities, more sustainable practices and long-term economic opportunity.鈥
