NGA Plans Third Annual Glass & Glazing Advocacy Days

On Capitol Hill, member companies directly engage with government officials on industry priorities.

The NGA announced 2024 dates for its third annual Glass & Glazing Advocacy Days event, to be held May 14-15, 2024, in Washington, DC. Based on last year鈥檚 success, NGA will again host members, stakeholders from government agencies, and congressional members to discuss top policy priorities and to showcase how the industry contributes to the economy, the workforce and human health.
 
黑料专区 & Glazing Advocacy Days is an opportunity to gain the attention of agency officials and congressional members to showcase industry businesses and the value of the U.S. architectural glass industry. NGA volunteers and staff will meet in organized small groups with members of Congress. Policy priorities at the 2024 event are Energy Efficiency/Sustainability, Bird-Friendly Glazing, School Security and Workforce Development.

We host Glass & Glazing Advocacy Days to help our legislators understand that value as well,鈥 says Nicole Harris, NGA president and CEO. 鈥淲e look forward to hosting this event for the third year to capitalize on the momentum we鈥檝e started, continuing to spread NGA鈥檚 message about the solutions our industry provides.鈥
