NGA’s Tom Culp Appointed to RGBS Consensus Committee

The National Green Building Standard (NGBS) appointed Tom Culp, Ph.D., of Birch Point Consulting LLC and NGA Energy Code Consultant, to the 2024 ICC 700 Residential Green Building Standard Consensus Committee.

Culp previously served on the 2020 NGBS Consensus Committee and will now participate in the 2024 update of the standard.

The NGBS is the only green building rating system for homes and apartments approved by the (ANSI), as an American National Standard. The NGBS provides a blueprint for builders to follow for the design and construction of new and renovated single-family homes and multifamily apartment buildings.
