The Fraunhofer-Zentrum für Hochtemperatur-Leichtbau HTL in Bayreuth stands out with its light grey and white façade. Drawing inspiration from the traditional Craquelé glazing technique, the pattern seem to represent repeatability and recognizability, perfectly embodying the essence of fact-finding. Designed by kister scheithauer gross architekten und stadtplaner, this two-story building offers an ideal environment for research and knowledge dissemination.

In this project, we contributed two of our flagship products: OKASOLAR F, a daylight system that maximizes natural light utilization while providing effective solar shading. It not only reduces the need for artificial lighting but also minimizes cooling loads, significantly improving the building's energy efficiency. Additionally, OKATHERM insulating glass delivers excellent design and functional flexibility, tailored to meet the unique requirements of the building.
