Molybdenum and tungsten are two extraordinary metals that make a significant contribution to our modern lives today. We are in constant contact with these two materials without even being aware of it.
Thin layers of molybdenum and tungsten are used in the manufacture of many high-tech products. However, our materials are often not visible at the end products. For example, in displays of laptops, computers, televisions, tablets or smartphones - where they are applied in wafer-thin layers inside the display.
Other examples are self-tinting windows and solar modules.
