On March 27, transatlantic investments and new business opportunities in the USA for companies from Emilia-Romagna took center stage at the Galli Theatre in Rimini. The conference, organized by AmCham Italy, the American Chamber of Commerce in Italy, in collaboration with ExportUsa, brings together local companies with strong trade ties to the United States, including Scm Group, along with institutions, experts, and investors from both sides of the Atlantic. The shared goal is to strengthen trade relations between the Emilia-Romagna and US economies.

For a company like Scm Group, which exports 90% of its turnover abroad and considers the USA its top foreign market, continuously evaluating new business opportunities remains essential. At the conference, Andrea Aureli, president of the Group, underscores this priority. Since the 1970s, Scm Group has been investing overseas to solidify its presence through directly managed branches, numerous collaborations with university research institutions and start-ups, and the acquisition of Dms in Colorado Springs, a leader in composite materials processing technology.
