The 1958 Guardian Savings Bank, a four-story building in a prime location in downtown Dallas, has been given new life as part of an adaptive reuse project. Dallas-based firm 5G Studio Collaborative transformed the dilapidated building into an urban asset by creating a striking mosaic façade featuring six different shades of blue handmade glazed ceramic tiles surrounded by Solarban® 90 Starphire®&�Բ�����;����������.



“Solarban® 90 Starphire®&�Բ�����;���������� was selected because of its clarity, reflection and lack of color,” explains Yen Ong, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP, the lead architect on the project. “Ultimately, the glazing selection worked very well with the project’s material palette.”
