A smart solution for lighter, slimmer, and more efficient insulated glass units.

At HEGLA, thin glass has been cut for more than 30 years. Working with glass thicknesses starting from 0.5 mm opens up entirely new possibilities for insulated glass units using thin glass as the middle pane—both in renovation projects and new builds. Instead of replacing existing windows, the old double insulated glass unit can simply be exchanged for a triple unit of the same width.

The result is a lighter, slimmer, and more energy-efficient insulation unit, delivering a U-value comparable to conventional triple insulated glass.

All cutting is performed fully automatically using the HEGLA Galactic TG cutting machine.
