Vitro has announced the successful start-up of the Line 2 furnace at its Meadville, Pennsylvania plant, marking a significant milestone in the facility’s ongoing transformation.

This achievement represents a major step forward in scaling production capacity to support Vitro’s strategic partnership with First Solar.

To celebrate the occasion, a lighting ceremony was held at the plant, bringing together employees and company leadership to recognize the teamwork and dedication that made this accomplishment possible. The new furnace reinforces Vitro’s commitment to innovation, operational excellence, and the continued growth of sustainable glass manufacturing in North America.
