In a one-inch insulating glass unit (IGU), Solarban® 70 glass delivers a visible light transmittance (VLT) of 64% and a solar heat gain coefficient (SHGC) of 0.27. Its exceptional optical clarity and advanced thermal performance go beyond conventional limits, maximizing natural daylighting, elevating aesthetic appeal and enhancing overall building efficiency.

Introduced in 2015, pioneered quad-silver coated low-e technology, delivering an unparalleled combination of neutral-reflective aesthetics and superior solar control performance. This advanced glazing maintains an appearance similar to clear glass, both in color and reflectance, from interior and exterior perspectives. Its innovative design has garnered industry recognition, providing architects with expanded high-performance and aesthetic options for sustainable building envelopes.

In a one-inch insulating glass unit (IGU), Solarban® 90 glass delivers visible light transmittance (VLT) of 51% and a solar heat gain coefficient (SHGC) of 0.23.

Solarban® 60 glass, Solarban® 70 glass and Solarban® 90 glass can be combined with Vitro’s low-iron substrates like Starphire Ultra-Clear® glass and Acuity® glass for a more crisp, colorless appearance, and can be paired with Vitro’s range of performance tinted glasses.
