On April 24, a delegation from the Architectural Curtain Wall Committee of the Shanghai Society of Architecture, led by Director Huang Qiuping, Executive Deputy Director Meng Genbaoligao, and Secretary-General Zhang Hai, visited NorthGlass for an inspection and in-depth discussions. Li Chunchao, Marketing Director of NorthGlass, together with the core marketing team, accompanied the visit and hosted the reception.

During the symposium, both parties focused on the broader trend of high-quality industry development and strategies for deepening engagement in the Shanghai regional market, engaging in practical discussions and strategic alignment. A key consensus was reached to leverage the upcoming exhibition tour celebrating 40 years of Shanghai’s architectural curtain wall achievements as an opportunity to officially launch a long-term and in-depth strategic partnership between the association and NorthGlass.

Centered on critical areas—including advancing key projects in Shanghai, implementing green and low-carbon concepts from the design stage, upgrading full lifecycle services for designers, optimizing specialized curtain wall glass solutions, strictly controlling project costs, and comprehensively improving quality while increasing efficiency—both sides exchanged ideas, aligned development strategies, and laid a solid foundation for long-term collaboration in resource sharing, technical synergy, and joint project development.

During the visit, the delegation toured NorthGlass’s glass deep-processing manufacturing base, observing the intelligent end-to-end production lines for high-end architectural glass and gaining detailed insights into the company’s standardized quality control system across the entire production chain. The delegation highly recognized NorthGlass’s strong presence in the Shanghai market and commended its outstanding achievements in landmark curtain wall projects and benchmark developments, as well as its leading role within the industry.

As Shanghai enters a new phase of accelerated urban renewal and continuous progress in green building development, NorthGlass will further strengthen its strategic cooperation with the Architectural Curtain Wall Committee of the Shanghai Society of Architecture.
