Emplas is appealing to installers already working in, or with the capability to work in, the commercial sector, after being inundated with leads.

As a company, we have seen consistent growth in demand from housebuilders working throughout the UK.

But with massive growth in demand, our existing commercial customers are inundated with work. Because of this, we are looking for new partners to help meet it.

John Leary, sales and marketing director at Emplas, said: 鈥淟eads in this industry are hard to come by but we鈥檝e actually got more new build leads than we can handle at the moment.

鈥淭he factory investment we have made means that we have manufacturing capacity but not the installer base to complete the supply chain.

鈥淐ommercial won鈥檛 be right for everyone but if you鈥檙e an established retail business with fitting capacity and some Window Designer experience, we can help you with the rest.鈥

As a company, we have established a track record of supplying the new build sector; from supporting the development of specifications to on-time delivery to the site. This also includes dedicated Secured by Design, PAS24 and Document Q tick-box ordering on our window designer.

Through investing 拢5 million into our investment programme and investing our capacity, we can manufacture a weekly capacity of up to 3,200 frames across two shifts.

John continued: 鈥淲e work very closely with our customers and while retail is still delivering growth, we know from our customers that it is a tough slog.

鈥淭his is at a time when we genuinely have more commercial leads that we know what to do with.

鈥淭he step into commercial supply isn鈥檛 such a big one if you鈥檙e already set up and operating with an effective structure, the right supply partner and have basic design and specification expertise within your team.鈥

Long-term prospects for new builds are also positive, with targets in place to deliver 300,000 new homes a year from 2020.

This includes a policy drive as set out in the 2018 Housing White Paper, supporting smaller housebuilders and encourage the release of smaller-scale developers.

This, John said, has increased accessibility to the market for installers. He said: 鈥淭here is a misconception that to supply house builders you need to have the inhouse capability to fulfil massive orders.

鈥淭hose jobs are still there, but there are also lots of small regional developers. You鈥檙e looking at sites with 25, 50 or 100 homes. They represent a massive opportunity for installers.鈥

At Emplas, we offer a full range of  products, including ,  and .

We also have extensive experience with just-in-time site delivery.

John concluded: 鈥淲e鈥檒l supply the frames glazed direct to the site, the proposition for the installer is, in that respect, far more straight forward than retail.

鈥淭he margin is also there. New build isn鈥檛 as price-driven. Developers want kerb appeal. There are massive opportunities for installers.鈥
