NGA Welcomes Sarah Swango as Vice President of Development & Exhibit Sales

The National Glass Association (NGA) has announced that Sarah Swango will serve as its Vice President of Development & Exhibit Sales, effective on Oct. 20, 2025.

In her role, Swango will focus on driving revenue growth through exhibition and sponsorship sales for GlassBuild America, the largest annual event for commercial and residential glass, window and door professionals in North America. She will also lead the development of the NGA Foundation to further NGA’s mission and impact.

Swango brings a strong background in strategic partnerships, fundraising and event sales to this new role at the NGA. Most recently, she led corporate and foundation relations at the National Institute of Building Sciences (NIBS), where she oversaw all fundraising efforts and sponsorship sales for the Building Innovation Conference and other key events. Prior to that, she supported member engagement and sponsorships at Medicaid Health Plans of America (MHPA), where she also organized MHPA’s annual conference and tradeshow. Earlier in her career, Swango was an account executive at the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) as a part of the team leading exhibition sales and sponsorships annually for the International Builders’ Show.

Swango holds a B.A. in Political Science and Spanish from Gettysburg College. She lives in Virginia with her husband and their two children.
