The development means that installers and homeowners can now upgrade their hardware specification to Yale’s Rapide lock on any of the five window systems fabricated by Polyframe and qualify for Polyframe’s homeowner guarantee – the ‘Polyframe Protection Promise’.

The Yale Rapide is the only window lock in the UK to engage along the full keep length, making it the strongest, safest and highest performing window lock on the market. Made from aluminium, it is built to withstand sustained forces of over 4,000 newtons. The Rapide has been independently tested to far exceed the British security standard PAS24:2016 and is Secured by Design approved.
