Long-standing Halo fabricator Scotia Windows and Doors has moved into an expansive new factory in Kilmarnock, with even greater capacity to serve trade customers across Scotland.

Supported by two trade centres in Alloa and Hamilton, the company is well placed to provide Halo鈥檚 industry-leading PVCu systems to an even greater number of discerning trade and commercial customers.

Scotia鈥檚 MD Robert McKnight explains: 鈥淲e鈥檝e now moved into our fantastic new purpose-built production facility and head office in Kilmarnock. The site covers 59,000 sq ft and, along with the large, modern building, there are an extensive number of loading bays and plenty of car parking for the convenience of our customers.

鈥淲e鈥檝e invested in two new state-of-the-art front end cutting machines to add to our existing window and door manufacturing machinery and all this equipment is now fully installed in the bigger, better building.

鈥淲e have taken the opportunity to streamline the production process which will enable us to achieve greater efficiencies, and this capacity means we can likely increase production to 1,600 PVCu frames per week.

鈥淲e are extremely proud of the significant growth of our business. Scotia works in partnership with housing associations, property developers, building firms, installers and more. We now have the capacity to support even more customers, and continue supporting them as they grow too.

鈥淲e look forward to welcoming customers - old and new - to our showroom where we will be showcasing our extensive range of high quality Halo products.

鈥淪cotia Windows and Doors has been using Halo since our company was founded 35 years ago, and the quality of this profile has been part and parcel of our success. We rely on Halo (and VEKA Group) for exceptional products and service, and that means Scotia customers can rely on us for the same.

鈥淲ith two trade centres in addition to our new factory, we can serve customers across Scotland with quality at their convenience.鈥

Neil Evans, VEKA Group鈥檚 Sales Director said: 鈥淲e鈥檙e very pleased to congratulate Scotia Windows and Doors on 35 years with Halo and wish the team every success in the new factory. Scotia is a great example of a hard-working Halo customer that knows 鈥榩utting customers first鈥 is key to the success of the business overall. I鈥檓 sure that customers across Scotland will make good use of the trade centres to access Scotia鈥檚 fantastic product range.

鈥淗ere鈥檚 to the next three and a half decades with Halo!鈥
